Hello! Welcome!(: I’m a 19 year old Singaporean girl who is on her pursue in becoming a great pastry chef. I have completed my studies in Le Cordon Bleu Dusit in Bangkok, a great school by the way, and living in a teenage dream(: This blog is mainly about my journey here in Bangkok and my pieces made throughout my course. Now with the home bake business, I will be using this website to continue posting my cakes and also to take in orders(: Feel free to browse around and take a look at my school term pieces! For starters, my name is Charmaine Tan.I’m a carefree and kinda a happy-go-lucky girl. I use to be a swimmer/tennis player and now i’m a baker.(So unusual I know) My friends call me crazy because i’m always so hyper, but to me, life without some insanity is boring so just have fun and we should enjoy what we do(: I love food(who doesn’t?:D), baking (ofcause), sports and laughing(seriously sometimes I think I laugh too much). Cheesecakes,chocolate cakes and strawberry shortcakes are my absolute favorites. I have a really supportive family that I can’t live without(: I was first inspired to be a pâtissier when I saw all the cool cakes in Japan. Then I realized whenever I’m feeling stress or unhappy, making and eating a home-baked goodies never fails to brighten up my day!  And so i started trying to bake more. My main purpose of baking is to make yummy cakes and desserts for people and make them feel loved and happy. I will then feel satisfied and happy too(:
